limp-wristed beasts and other fallacies is an autotheoretical project that surveys queerness, representation, monstrosity, horror, and resistance. Historically, queer citizens in Singapore

have faced various layers of disavowal. For me, this disavowal happens on various levels: through the military, art censorship, and media portrayals. In many ways, queerness is deemed sinister, othered through various legislative procedures and representations. Driven by Singapore’s negation of queerness, the installation posits the queer as monstrous.
