Detail
An installation work in response to photographs by George Porter, the work is a critique of the education system in Singapore. Modelling after school tables of the 1960s, they were replicated in white to signify the blank slate. Excerpts from the 'three character classics' were then carved under the table, and in a way, like how a naughty student is, carving answers to tests under tables.
