Detail
when it gets too loud
Inspired by social media, the work is an exploration of the concept of construal level theory. Tape sculptures were made from bodies of participants, and made to resemble clothes. Thoughts were then collected by participants and played in speakers that were placed within the hollow sculptures. In that way, the sound is amplified by the length of the sculptures.
